Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku, JP's Decoration as Grand Patron of Eko Destination Ltd in preparation towards the much anticipated Destination Lagos Awards

Sunday 4th of February, 2024 was another great success recorded by the management of Lagos' private most committed tourism destination promotion company Eko Destination Ltd, the proud owner of Eko Tourism Online Radio. In a glittering affair that captivated attendees, the esteemed Cardinal James Omolaja Odumbaku, JP popularly known as Baba Eto was honored as the Grand Patron in preparation towards the maiden edition of the prestigious Destination Lagos Awards coming up soon. The decoration and presentation of certificate, took place at the auditorium of the renowned City of God Cathedral, Budland Street, Ojodu, Lagos. Cardinal Odumbaku's selection as the Grand Patron was met with resounding applause and heartfelt appreciation from all present. According to the MD/CEO of Eko Destination Ltd who also double as the Chairman, Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria-ATPN, Lagos State Chapter, Hon. Apata Samson Olamitunji Nunayon stated that the newly decorated Grand Patron's unwavering dedication to promotion of religious tolerance and by extension religious tourism, coupled with his visionary leadership and philanthropic endeavors, earned him this distinguished honor. In his acceptance speech, Baba Eto as fondly called by all, expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him and reiterated his commitment to the company's advancement and Lagos State in general. The Destination Lagos Awards ceremony scheduled to hold later this year, will spotlight individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions across various sectors, particularly tourism and hospitality. The achievement of the spotlighted stakeholders serves as a testament to Lagos's vibrant ecosystem and its potential for continued growth as a global tourism destination.
